Guest Room Policies

Reservations

As the guest room is primarily intended for the use of guests of Stanford departments, reservations should be made for the guest by a departmental administrator or faculty member.

At the time the reservation is made, the I-Center should be provided with information concerning whether the department or the guest is responsible for payment and the method of payment. We can accept only a departmental transfer or cash. Full payment due upon arrival. If you wish to pay by ijournal, please send your PTA and approver of the account to wendyc@stanford.edu in advance.

Cancellations

Since Bechtel has only one guest room, cancellations can be very costly to the Center. Please note the cancellation policy on the guidelines page.

Check-in is only possible during regular office hours Monday - Friday (10 AM - 4:45 PM). If you are possibly going to be arriving later than 5 PM, please arrange for your Stanford Departmental contact to get the key in advance.
